KERALA/KANYAKUMARI : 07 NIGHTS / 08 DAYS

Day 1 : Cochin - Cochin

Meet and greet and airport assistance. On arrival check into hotel. Cochin is the Commercial capital of Kerala. Afternoon have short city tour of Cochin, the city famed as ‘Queen of Arabian Sea. Visit to Mattanchery Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, The Oldest European Church in India, the Chinese Fishing Nets - living symbols of centuries Old Chinese influence etc. Overnight at Hotel in Cochin.

Day 2 : Cochin – Munaar

After breakfast, drive to Munnar. ( appr. 4 hrs drive) Munnar, the picturesque hill stations in India is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make this destination a popular resort town. Munnar is home of Nilgiri Tahrs, an endangered species of wild goat. On arrival, check in to the hotel with rest of the day to spend as you please- either relaxing or exploring tea city. Overnight at the at Hotel in Munnar.

Day 3 : Cochin – Munaar

You will be taken for a sight seeing tour of Munnar. Sightseeing tour around Munnar takes one to tea gardens where picturesque colonial towns and meandering mountain streams present photo opportunities galore. You will be taken for a visit to Rajamalai where you can watch Nilgiri Tahrs in their natural habitat. You will also be visiting the nearby Mattuppetty Dam, Kundala lake, Exho point, Blossom park. Later scroll at the local market . Overnight at Hotel.

Day 4 : Munaar - Allepey

Transfer to houseboat at Alleppey ( appr. 4 ½ hrs) . Enjoy the houseboat cruise through Vembanad lake, the biggest backwater stretch in Kerala and through the narrow canals of Alleppey. Houseboat cruise through the serene backwater stretches of gives an idea of the beauty of backwaters. Overnight stay in houseboat.

(Generally we serve Kerala Food. If you require any special meals like north Indian food or food without spice etc, it has to be informed in advance. A/c Will Work from 8 PM - 6 AM except Gold category Houseboat will work as required)

Day 5 : Allepey - Kumarakom

After breakfast checkout from house boat, transfer to Kumarakom, ( appr. 1 ½ hrs) the renowned backwater destination on the banks of Vembanad Lake. Kumarakom is a beautiful paradise of mangrove forests, emerald green paddy fields and coconut groves interspersed with enchanting waterways and canals adorned with white lilies. Kumarakom is well known for its varied avian population. Check in to your hotel. You will be taken for a sightseeing trip to the nearby bird sanctuary and to the wood museum.

Day 6 : Kumarakom – Kanyakumari

Morning after breakfast drive to Kanyakumari. ( 5 hrs) Kanyakumari is the land where the three seas meet together. Enroute visit the famous Padmanabhapuram Palace at Thucklay, the abode of erstwhile Travancore State. Visit Vivekananda Rock Temple, a memorial to great Indian philosopher and reformist, Thiruvallavur Statue, dedicated to Tamil classical writer and Gandhi Museum, memorial to the father of the nation & anyakumari Devi Temple. Afterwards have a good Sun Set view from the view point and check in to your hotel. Overnight at Kanyakumari.

Day 7 : Kanyakumari – Kovalam

After breakfast checkout hotel, transfer to Kovalam. ,( 1 ½ hrs drive) On arrival at Kovalam check into hotel. Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach destination. Kovalam has been a favorite haunt of tourists for decades.Have city tour of Trivandrum – visit Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple, the foremost attraction in Trivandrum Kuthira Malika Palace Museum, known for its Travancore style of architecture, Napier Museum, houses a rare collection or archaeological and historical artifacts, Sree Chitra Art Gallery, displays paintings and other exquisite works etc.Rest of the day to explore the beach. Overnight at hotel in Kovalam

Day 8 : Departure.

Morning breakfast at hotel. Time for last minute shopping and later transfer to Trivandrum airport for your return flight .
